Keshav is currently a Senior Writer at NewsBTC and has been attached to the site since June 14, 2021.
Keshav has been writing for many years, first as a hobbyist and later as a freelancer. She has experience working in various niches, even fiction at one point, but the cryptocurrency industry has been associated with her the longest.
In terms of official educational qualifications, Keshav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from one of the premier institutes in India, the University of Delhi (DU). He started his studies with a career in physics in mind, but the onset of the pandemic changed his plans. The virus meant that university classes had to be held online, and with it came free time to develop other passions.
Initially just looking to make some money from beer, Keshav unexpectedly gained clients offering real projects and there was no looking back. He had always enjoyed writing, and being able to earn a living was a dream come true.
Keshav graduated with a degree in physics in 2022 and has since been focusing on his writing career, but that doesn’t mean his passion for physics is over. Ultimately, he plans to return to university to pursue a master’s degree in the same field, but perhaps only to satisfy his own interests rather than exploit them as a means of finding employment.
Keshav has found blockchain and its concepts fascinating since he started going down the rabbit hole in 2020. In particular, he enjoys learning more about network analysis, which is why his articles on NewsBTC usually cover it in some form.
Since Keshav has a science background, he likes concepts to be clear and coherent, so he usually explains the metrics he talks about in some detail so that readers can perhaps understand and learn something fresh.
When it comes to hobbies, Keshav is very interested in football, anime and video games. He likes football not only as an observer, but also as a player. When it comes to games, Keshav usually prefers single-player adventures, with EA FC (formerly FIFA) being the only online game in which he actively participates. Although perhaps due to his intense concentration on the game, today he is a semi-professional in the EA FC scene, regularly participating in tournaments and sometimes even receiving cash prizes.
Due to his enthusiasm for anime and gaming, he also learned Japanese along the way to absorb some of the untranslated gems. This skill hasn’t remained just a hobby, as he put it to productive exploit while scouting petite gigs at the beginning of the pandemic, doing several translations from Japanese to English.
Keshav is also interested in fitness, with agility and acceleration training being a large part of his routine due to the importance they have in football. In addition to this, he also has a more customary strength-based program at the gym that he does to maintain his body’s overall fitness level.
