The former director of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange expects that Bitcoin may rise above the level of $100,000.

Binance’s former CEO Changpeng Zhao believes the primary cryptocurrency is poised to reach higher price levels after Tuesday’s brief surge to $100,000.

“Boring” level?

Bitcoin welcomed the up-to-date year on a positive note as the cryptocurrency saw a recovery that catapulted it to reach the $100,000 mark.

Zhao, who is also the founder of Binance, suggested that the top crypto assets could perform better and exceed the price of $100,000. dollars.

“100 thousand It’s dull, right?” Zhao said in the post, in response to the Bitcoin recovery.

Investors saw Bitcoin regain its lost glory after reaching $100,000 after the digital asset fell to a key level on December 19, staying below $100,000 for an extended period before gaining momentum to push it towards that milestone.

Bitcoin destined to reach up-to-date highs

Zhao, popularly known as CZ, stated that it is much easier for Bitcoin to reach a price above 100,000. dollars. That’s why the former crypto company executive wasn’t surprised by BTC’s comeback and surge over the past 24 hours.

The former Binance CEO’s post on X has sparked excitement among members of the cryptocurrency community as Zhao’s post suggests that BTC prices may enhance.

Last month, Bitwise executive Matt Hougan predicted that bull run for cryptocurrencies will continue to gain momentum through 2025. Hougan expects prices of other major crypto assets to rise, with Bitcoin leading the way.

Hougan believes BTC could reach as high as $200,000 before the end of 2025, saying inflows from Bitcoin ETFs could boost demand from corporate entities. As a result, this would enhance their exposure to top crypto assets.

The positive mood continues

Zhao is positive about cryptocurrencies, saying that 2025 will be the year of “sending” digital assets. According to analysts, the term “send” is used when there is tension around cryptocurrencies due to rising prices.

Other market analysts agree that digital asset prices will see a piercing enhance in 2025, driven by the adoption of cryptocurrencies by institutional investors and national governments.

Although the former Binance CEO believes that Bitcoin will exceed $100,000, Zhao did not present price forecast per year. However, there were occasions when Zhao suggested that Bitcoin could be traded at a price of $850,000 per coin.
