Ripple has announced the dates for its next flagship event, giving the XRP community and institutional partners an early look at what lies ahead. In a post shared on social media platform X, the company confirmed that Swell will return to Recent York on October 27-29, 2026.
The update has arrived after the notable Swell 2025 conference in Recent York, which placed Ripple at the center of discussions about institutional adoption, stablecoins and the blockchain infrastructure of the XRP ecosystem.
Ripple confirms Swell dates for 2026
Ripple’s announcement confirmed that Swell will once again be hosted in Recent York, this time for three days from October 27 to 29, 2026. The company encouraged its community to mark their calendars early; We will provide more information in the modern year.
The announcement has additional significance because Ripple also revealed a major change to the structure of its annual events, setting the stage for what it describes as a larger and more unified gathering. In addition to dates and locations, Ripple noted that the 2026 edition is expected to have a larger scope. “Builders, financial leaders and industry partners will come together under one roof, creating unforgettable experiences.” noted in the ad.
One of the most noteworthy elements of the announcement is the decision to combine Swell and Apex into one event. Swell events have always focused on institutional finance, payments, and political discussions, while Apex catered more directly to developers using the XRP ledger. The last Swell 2025 event took place in Recent York, while the Apex 2025 event took place in Singapore during the first half of the year.
However, by combining the two, it appears that Ripple plans to promote better alignment between institutional adoption and the development of the on-chain XRP ledger. This unified format is worth looking forward to as the event is expected to bridge the gap between financial institutions and tech developers, rather than treating them as a separate audience.

The announcement also highlights Swell 2025. The 2025 event in Recent York was widely seen as one of the most significant Ripple conferences to date, featuring powerful institutional representation and focusing discussions on stablecoins, tokenized assets and cross-border settlements.
The event took place on November 4 and 5, 2025. Shortly after this event, the first Spot XRP ETF appeared was launched in the USA.
Ripple Swell 2025 attracted high-profile Ripple executives, institutional leaders and decision-makers. Ripple management was represented by CEO Brad GarlinghouseExecutive Chairman Chris Larsen and President Monica Long all attended key sessions.
Famed participants with customary finances included in the price Nasdaq Chairman and CEO Adena Friedman and BlackRock Digital Assets Chief Maxwell Stein.
