When Ethereum means the 10th anniversary, the platform is at a critical point of its journey. In an exclusive interview for Cointelegraph, Tomasz Stanczak, executive director of Ethereum Foundation, discusses the changing landscape of blockchain technology, and what to do with Ethereum.
During the interview, Stanczak refers to the growing competition from newer blockchains, such as Solana, Aptos and others. While critics claim that Ethereum lags in terms of user speed and experience, Stanczak explains that the Foundation focused on long -term priorities and careful progress, even among external noise.
He also divides his perspective of the evolving Ethereum ecosystem, a particularly more significant relationship between layer 1 and layer solutions. According to Stanczak, emphasis is now placed on interoperability, tools and standards that can bring greater coherence of the Ethereum network – without prejudice for its basic principles, such as decentralization and neutrality.
The conversation also applies to encouraging and ongoing debate on whether Ethereum can continue to attract validators as the solutions of layer 2 increases. Stanczak suggests that although institutional players often focus on phrases, many members of the community prioritize to prioritize the long -term values and security of Ethereum.
