The Ethereum researcher advertises “Lean Ethereum” to simplify the technical complexity

Published on:

The researcher of the Ethereum Foundation, Justin Drake, proposed “Lean Ethereum”, the Clever Contract Network Quanture Setum Layer-1 plan, while simplifying the Ethereum technical stack, which includes a layer of consensus, a data layer and a layer of performance.

Researcher proposed Zero-light powered by virtual machines, the method of verification of Onchain data without disclosing the content of this data, to the quantum resistance layer of performance and strengthening of security.

Drake called for data availability samples as a way to reduce storage requirements for Blockchain Ethereum, while maintaining block integrity.

Trying data availability is a technique that checks petite, random block elements to ensure the accuracy of the block without having to download the full block to determine if it is correct.

He also proposed to accept RISC-V RAM, which is a set of simplified computer instructions designed to tell the computer processor what to do. This would make a layer of consensus aware, while simplifying the technical elements of the consensus.

Proponents of RISC-V RAM claim that it increases safety by reducing the possible surface surfaces and ribbons in the network and its component nodes.

Developers are still calling a simpler stack of Ethereum technology to promote the ease of operate among blockchain programmers, while reducing complexity and limiting backdors. Clever Contract Network faced repeated criticism from programmers because of its technical complexity.

Co -founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin and other programmers express similar fears

In May, the co -founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, said that he wanted to simplify the technical pile of Ethereum over the next five years, so that the architecture of the blockchain network is as basic as Bitcoin.

Vitalik he said that too much technical development on Ethereum “has contributed to a significant part of our excessive expenditure on development, all kinds of security risk and the island of research and development culture, often in pursuit of benefits that proved to be illusory.”

Buterin also proposed a transition to RISC-V architecture in April, so that the network is faster and more resistant.

Others, such as Fan Xinxin, the head of cryptography on the decentralized Blockchain Iotex platform, proposed on the Hash, the proof of zero knowledge as a way to download the quantum of the entire network without devoting users’ experience.
